Uploaded some more images to the My Run series using Lightroom. Sadly that's my trial period over so it's back to version 1.

Lightroom 3.3

I downloaded a copy of Lightroom 3.3 to test. I was trying to see wither it was worth the extra £79 to upgrade or should I go down the road of paying the cheaper price of £45 for Aperture. I thought they would both be similar and it would be a no brainer, Aperture is just the same program with the an Apple logo on it. I must confess, I was wrong. Lightroom 3.3 is amazing! The gradient tool alone would put any other RAW processing software to shame.

That being said the price tag on Aperture is so tempting. Is the gradient tool really THAT good? Well...yes. The whole package is just superior.

Sadly, I am a man of few means and it looks like I'll be forced to take the cheaper route. My LR3.3 trial comes to an end in two weeks and I will be gutted to see it sit there in my Applications folder knowing what it can do and not being able to use it. Never mind. I've got a Lottery ticket!
